Anthony Ferguson Discusses Goal Achievement

J-Hawk Foundations closed out the 2017-18 school year with a guest speaker.  Anthony Ferguson, Jr. spoke to 200+ student athletes about Goal Achievement and his journey from Baltimore, MD, to Iowa.  Along the way, Mr. Ferguson was faced with numerous situations that forced him to ask himself "What am I Willing to Risk and Sacrifice?"

 

Anthony Ferguson, Jr. is a proud graduate of the University of Iowa and Drake University. He is currently in his first year of Doctoral course work at Drake University. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Anthony was recruited to the University of Iowa to play football in 2010. He currently works in Des Moines, Iowa as an Outpatient Counselor with men and women who struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues. Prior to his current role, Anthony worked at Drake University as an Admission Counselor. In his free time, he volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Investing In My Future, and other various organizations in the Des Moines community.
