Almost, Maine is a play by John Cariani, comprised of eleven scenes that explore love and loss in a remote, mythical almost-town called Almost, Maine. Each 2-3-person scene takes place in different locations in Almost on a Friday night at around 9:00pm, during the Aurora Borealis. While each is romantic and full of a certain magic, the scenes are not sentimental, for the love therein is not ever after as in a fairytale. Rather it is more fragile, flawed and fleeting than the Aurora Borealis that oversees the proceedings.
Please come join one of our two casts on a journey of love, hope, loss and understanding.
