Six Urbandale Football Players have signed National Letters of Intent to play Football next year at the college level.
Babcock Signs with Briar Cliff University
Ryan Babcock has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Football at Briar Cliff University beginning in the fall of 2014.
Babcock, 6'0" Linebacker led the J-Hawks in tackles this season with 71; he also registered an Interception. Babcock was a 2nd Team All-Western Iowa Division selection in 2013.
Babcock is the son of Lori and Adam Babcock of Urbandale.
Coady Signs with Grand View University
Dalton Coady has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Football at Grand View University beginning in the fall of 2014.
Coady, a 5'10" Defensive Back, led the J-Hawks in Interceptions the past two seasons (4 in 2013, 5 in 2012); he recorded 48 total tackles this past season. Coady was a 1st Team All-Western Iowa Division selection in 2013.
Coady is the son of Mark and Becky Coady of Urbandale.
Elbert Signs with Grand View University
Spencer Elbert has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Football at Grand View University beginning in the fall of 2014.
Elbert, a 6'2" Defensive Lineman recorded 41 tackles this past year for the J-Hawks. Elbert was a 2nd Team All-Western Iowa Division selection in 2013.
Elbert is the son of Doug and Jennifer Elbert of Urbandale.
Grau Signs with Grand View University
Jake Grau has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Football at Grand View University beginning in the fall of 2014.
Grau, a 6'4" Offensive Tackle was a two-year starter for the J-Hawks, earning 1st Team All-Western Iowa Division selection in 2013. Grau picked up a punt that was blocked and ran it in for a 36 yard touchdown at Indianola this season.
Grau is the son of Teresa and Scott Grau of Urbandale.
Lane Signs with Grand View University
Ramel Lane has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Football at Grand View University beginning in the fall of 2014.
Lane, a 5'10" Defensive Lineman registered 55 tackles for the J-Hawks this past season. He was a 1st Team All-Western Iowa Division selection in 2013.
Lane is the son of Raven Lane and Jamien Williams of Des Moines.
Lazard Signs with Iowa State University
Allen Lazard has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Football at Iowa State University beginning in the fall of 2014.
Lazard, a 6'5" Wide Receiver, is the son of Kevin and Mary Lazard of Urbandale. He is a 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Participant, was named a MaxPreps and USA Today All American, and was Elite, 1st Team All-State Football three times (2011, 2012, 2013) as recognized by the Des Moines Register.
