The Urbandale Boys Golf team opened the season with a convincing victory over Des Moines East on the 18-hole, Grandview Golf Course.
The J-Hawks beat the Scarlets 337-354.
Next up: Urbandale will compete in the Johnston Invitational on August 28, 2013.
