The Urbandale Girls Bowling team advances to the State Bowling Meet for the first time in school history.
The J-Hawks won the Regional Meet at Val Lanes on Tuesday afternoon.
Leading the J-Hawks were Megan Hess, Mercedes Hendricks, and Maddison Mundy, who placed 1st – 3rd respectively in the 2A Regional.
Megan Hess, 373 - Champion
Mercedes Hendricks, 351 - Runner-Up
Maddison Mundy, 344 - 3rd Place
Ashleigh Kistenmacher, 324 - 5th Place
Talia Drury, 308 - 6th Place
Sophi Wilker, 261 - 10th Place
The 2017 Class 2A State Bowling Meet will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Plaza Lanes in Des Moines at 10:00am.
