Urbandale teacher and coach Mike Moreno was named to the Iowa Chapter of the National Hall of Fame.

Moreno received his award at the 2017 Iowa Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Conventon on Saturday.

Moreno moved to Urbandale to coach the J-Hawks in the 2006-2007 school year, leading the J-Hawks until after the 2012-2013 season. 

Mike Moreno remains an Assistant Coach for the J-Hawks today.
