The Doubles duo of Jackie Kaiser and Abby Reis will play in the State Semifinal Round of the Class 2A Girls Doubles Tournament on Friday in Ankeny at 10:00am.

Kaiser and Reis beat teams from Linn Mar and Ankeny Centennial on Day 1 in straight sets to advance.

The team of Mylea Cole and Brooke Dannenfeldt won their first match against a team from Cedar Rapids Prairie 2-1.  The pair lost in the Quarterfinal Round on Thursday afternoon 2-1 to a team from Dowling, however, they bounced back and beat Johnston 2-0 and will face a duo from Dowling Catholic in the Semifinal Round of the Consolation Bracket at 9:30am on Friday.
