Urbandale defeated Ankeny Centennial in their first trip to the South Gym in five sets, 3-2.
The J-Hawks trailed 13-9 in the 5th and deciding set, yet managed to win the set 16-14.
Urbandale returns to the South Gym in one week to face Mason City at 7:30pm.
