J-Hawks Sweep Through DCG Invite

Urbandale swept through the Dallas Center-Grimes Volleyball Invitaional on Tuesday night to begin the season at 4-0.

The J-Hawks beat Algona 21-11, 21-14, DCG 21-9, 21-11, and Fort Dodge 21-13, 21-9 in Pool Play.  The team then beat #9 DM Roosevelt 21-6, 21-8 in the Championship.

Urbandale travels to Ankeny Centennial on Saturday for the Centennial Invitational.  The J-Hawks will be home for the first time on August 31 when they host Ottumwa.
