Elyse Prescott placed 3rd at the CIC Girls Conference Cross Country Invitational on Thursday night; the J-Hawks placed 5th as a team.

Urbandale scored 98 points; Dowling was first with 67, Ames second with 74, Johnston third with 75, and Waukee fourth with 93.

The J-Hawks hit the course in the Regional Meet on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Marshalltown with a berth in the State Meet on the line.
