The Urbandale Girls Cross Country Team won the Class 4A State Championship on Saturday morning at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge.
The J-Hawks went wire to wire in 2015 as the top rated team in the State and did not disappoint at the State Meet, besting Pleasant Valley by 19 points.
Julia Noah (2nd), Elsye Prescott (4th), Mickey Cole (8th), and Neanagit Malow (14th) all placed for the J-Hawks. Avery Peterson (36th), Carly Klavins (46th), and Casey Middleswart (83rd) rounded out the J-Hawks lineup on Saturday.
