The Urbandale Baseball Team had their second DH of the 2024 as the J-Hawks (0-2) took on the Des Moines East Scarlets (1-2) at the DM East Sports Complex near Duke Williams Stadium on May 16, 2024. 

The J-Hawk bats came to play as they combined for 28 runs and 25 hits in the twin billing. Jordan Sturdivant dealt in game one throwing 5 innings and 6 strikeouts. Jacob Barnes hit his first career home run in the DH as well! 

Urbandale has a busy week next week as they are playing on 4 of the 5 days. Their next game is on Monday, May 20th against the SEP Rams on the road. They host their first home game of the season at Barton Field against Ames Little Cyclones on Tuesday, May 21st.
