Tonight the Urbandale J-Hawks (7-8) were in the Class 4A, Substate 8 bracket play as they took on the Waterloo West Wahawks (9-8) of the Mississippi Valley Conference.

It was ALL J-Hawks in this one as the offense EXPLODED for 7 goals on the evening, 5 of which coming in the 2nd half. Goals were scored by Carver and Abalaka in the 1st half. Carver added his 2nd goal of the night in the 2nd half while being joined by Booth, Mujic, Strbac, and Chaudhry. 

The J-Hawks advance to face off against the winner of the WDM Valley Tigers and Des Moines East Scarlets game scheduled right after the J-Hawks completed their match.
