The Urbandale J-Hawks (8-8) were in the Class 4A, Substate 8 final as they took on the Valley Tigers (17-3). The Tigers won the regular season matchup by a score of 4-1. 

The Tigers scored early to jump out to a quick 3-0 lead. However, the J-Hawks fought back scoring two goals in the 2nd half. The first goal was from Jakobitz and the second was a deep one from Troja with 10 minutes left. The comeback started a bit too late as the Tigers snuck away with the win 3-2. 

The J-Hawks conclude the season at 8-9. Thank you to the seniors for their committment ti the program!
