It was a wet one in Ames, as the #12 Urbandale J-Hawks (6-8) faced off against the Alliance Conference's Ames Little Cyclones (9-6).

The J-Hawks rode their two senior goal scorers in Kiley Lumley and Taylor Mulligan. Lumley led the J-Hawks with 2 more goals and Mulligan scored the other. The final was 3-2 and the J-Hawks moved to 7-8 with the win.

The J-Hawks will face the Des Moines North Polar Bears on May 21st for the opening round of substate play at Frerichs Field.
