We're excited to share that our spring musical, Mamma Mia! The Musical, received multiple honors at the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards (IHSMTA), presented by EMC Insurance and produced by Des Moines Performing Arts.

This prestigious program celebrates excellence in high school musical theater across Iowa, and our students were recognized for their exceptional work both onstage and behind the scenes.

It's truly inspiring to see our students' immense talent and dedication recognized at this level. Every cast, crew, and pit member invested countless hours into this production, and these awards are a powerful testament to their hard work and passion.

Honors received include:

• Distinguished Scene: "Knowing Me, Knowing You" featuring Henry Dix (Senior) and Ensemble

• Outstanding Achievement in Direction: Miley Seliquini (Senior)

• Outstanding Achievement in Scenic Design: Ava LaMarre (Senior)

• Outstanding Achievement in Stage Management: Sophia Reece (Senior) and Quinn Trotter (Sophomore)

• Outstanding Achievement in Student Orchestra: Directed by Tommy Doggett

We're incredibly proud of these accomplishments and grateful to everyone—students, staff, and the directing team—who helped bring this production to life.
