An integral part of the Emerging Leaders program is the Seeds of Success.  Through this agreement with elementary schools, Emerging Leaders have the opportunity to speak to 5th graders throughout the Urbandale School District about various topics of leadership, including sportsmanship, time management and decision making.  The Emerging Leaders practice public speaking by giving an elevator speech at each visit, watch and discuss a short video relating to that day's topic, and answer questions from a wide range of topics.
