The Urbandale J-Hawks (10-9, 3-7) took on the #7 Southeast Polk Rams (14-8, 4-6) on June 12, 2024 for a CIML conference matchup at the beautiful grounds of Barton Field. It was one of the hottest days of the summer thus far which brought some threats of rain and storms in the area.

In game 1, the J-Hawks only managed 4 hits, but were able to generate enough offense to take down the Rams. This was their second consecutive victory over the Rams this season, winning the previous matchup by run rule. The final was 6-5 in game 1.

In game 2, the Rams kept the J-Hawks at bay as the offense couldn't get anything going. The final was 0-6.

With the loss, the J-Hawks move to 10-9 on the season. Urbandale is scheduled to host Ankeny Centennial at Barton Field on June 13th for a JV/V doubleheader.
