Little Women: The Broadway Musical

The Urbandale High School Theatre Arts Department presents Little Women the musical. Based on Louisa May Alcott's life, Little Women follows the adventures of the four March sisters — the oldest and most traditional sister Meg, the rebellious and driven Jo, selfless Beth, and the youngest, mischievous Amy March Jo’s single minded pursuit of becoming a published author leads her down a path of love, heartbreak, and, ultimately, acceptance. Filled with adventure both lived and imagined, Little Women mimics the sounds of a young America finding its voice during the Civil War. With cheerful, jaunty melodies, memorable characters, and a big hearted message, Little Women reminds us that “sometimes when you dream, your dreams come true.”
