The weather was absolutely stunning for some spring soccer on the pitch at Frerichs Field. The #12 Urbandale J-Hawks (5-8) faced off against the #14 Dowling Catholic Maroons (6-6).

It was a tight battle throughout. The J-Hawks struck first with a goal in the 34th minute by Kiley Lumley, but Dowling answered immediately for a goal in the 35th minute. The score would remain 1-1 through regulation. Taylor Mulligan was the hero tonight as she scored the gamewinning goal in the 88th minute! The final score was 2-1. The J-Hawks moved to 6-8 with the win.

The J-Hawks will face the Ames Little Cycloness on May 13th for the season finale.
