First off, thank you in advance for your support of Urbandale Athletics, the Urbandale Booster Club and the Volleyball Program. In the fall 2018, the Booster Club and the Volleyball Program are working together to organize concessions and event support with an online signup.
All parents are asked to sign up for 3-4 different shifts and any parent that doesn't signup will be assigned to any open shift that remains. Please remember that volunteering gets you into the event for free and you only have to assist during your assigned shift.
The request is that parents of athletes participating at the 9th grade level help during the 10th, JV, or Varsity matches, parents of athletes participating at the 10th and/or JV level help during the 9th or Varsity matches, and Varsity Parents help during the 10th and/or JV matches or in the concessions during tournament play. The lone exception is during the 10/JV Invitational on September 15, 2018, because the Varsity Volleyball team is competing at the Waukee Invitational and on Monday, October 8, 2018, during the 9th Invitational.
Concessions Expectations: The expectation is that one adult representing the name listed will be present in the Concession Stand – we ask that no children under the age of 18 be in the concession stand and there must be more adults than students.
Score Table / Line Judges : Line Judges and Score Table volunteers need to arrive at their volunteer location at least 15 minutes prior to the event to receive instructions regarding their assignment. 9th A - South Gym/North Gym; 9th B - North Gym; 10th - South Gym/North Gym; JV - South Gym.
If you are unable to fulfill your assignment that you sign up for or are assigned to, please find someone to take your place.
