Urbandale scored on the first play from scrimmage and never looked back, racing to a 31-0 lead at halftime and a 52-21 victory over the visiting Hawks.

The J-Hawks earned the right to play 10-0 Ames on Monday, November 4, 2013, at Ames.  

Tickets for the Second Round Playoff Football Game on Monday, November 4, 2013, will go on sale on Monday, November 4, 2013, in the Activities Office.  The Activities Office is located just inside the East Doors to Urbandale High School (between the stadium and the gym area).  All spectators will need a ticket; no passes will be accepted as this is an IHSAA event.  State Playoff T-Shirts remain on sale in the Activities Office.

To avoid long lines at Ames High School, you are advised to purchase your ticket in advance.

With a victory on Monday night, the J-Hawks will advance to the Quarterfinal Round of the Class 4A Playoffs and face the winner of Sioux City East and Valley, on Friday, November 8.  The site for the Quarterfinal game will be announced after the conclusion on Monday's games.

All tickets are $6.00 each; checks may be written for tickets, made payable to Urbandale High School.  Tickets will also be available at the gate at Ames High School on Monday night.
