Derek Mowrey has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Football at Augustana University.

Mowrey was a two-time letterwinner for the J-Hawks on the gridiron.  He was a third team All-State Selection by the Iowa Newspaper Association and a first team All-District selection in 2016; in 2015 he was a second team All-District selection.

Mowrey is the son of Brenda and Bob Mowrey of Urbandale.  Augustana University is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; the Vikings compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
