The Urbandale Football Team returned to the gridiron Friday Night to defend Frerichs Field against the visiting Iowa City West Trojans.

The J-Hawks started off the games with a 38-yard field goal to begin the game and entered halftime with a 10-0 lead. Both offenses ignited in the second half, including a 55-yard touchdown run from Jaylon Brooks. An eventual touchdown would seal the 31-17 win for Urbandale. 

Head Coach Sam Anderson notched his 100th career win as the leader of the Urbandale Football Team. 

The J-Hawks return to action on Friday, September 8 at 7:00 pm as they welcome Bettendorf to town.
