Alec Reseland (Class of 2018) was named the Des Moines Register's 2017 Boys Bowler of the Year at the All Iowa Sports Awards on Saturday night.

Reseland was the Class 2A State Bowling Champion and led the J-Hawks to their second consecutive team title this year.

Reseland and the J-Hawks begin their title defense on November 21, 2017, against Ankeny at Plaza Lanes.
