The 2024 Substate Brackets have been released and the path to state for the J-Hawks has been determined. The Urbandale Boys Soccer Team opens post-season play on Monday, May 20 at Frerichs Field against the Waterloo West Wahawks.

The J-Hawks (6-7) are the two seed in the bracket, while Waterloo West (8-6) is the three seed. WDM Valley is the substate's number 1 seed and will face Des Moines East in their opener.
