Pending approval by the Board of Directors of the Urbandale Community School District on July 11, 2022, Joel Jacobs has been named the Head Boys Track Coach at Urbandale High School.

Jacobs has served on the Boys Track Staff at Urbandale High School for the past four seasons.  In addition, he is on the high school Football staff and teaches at Urbandale High School.

Jacobs replaces Lee Hammerand who stepped away from the head coaching role following the 2022 season.
