The Urbandale Boys Track Team placed 3rd at the State Qualifying Meet at Waukee Northwest on Thursday evening.
Here is a look at the automatic state qualifiers after this meet:
Ryan Marshall – 100m Dash
Ryan Marshall – 200m Dash
Tommy Hensley – 800m Run
Tommy Hensley – 1600m Run
Distance Medley Relay – Jaylon Brooks, Elijah Hoyt, Kyland Johnson, Tommy Hensley
Justin Carper – Long Jump
In class 4A, the top two place winners in each event, plus the next twelve (12) best performances statewide from qualifying meet place winners (1st-8th place) will advance to the state meet. We expect the remaining qualifiers to be announced on Friday.
