Skyler Shellmyer has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Softball at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Shellmyer is arguably one of the most decorated Softball players in Urbandale history. She has earned four Varsity letters to date, starting for the J-Hawks since her 8th grade year. She earned 2nd Team All-State in 2014 and has been a 1st Team selection in each of the three years that followed. Shellmyer has helped the J-Hawks to the Class 5A State Softball Tournament each of the last three seasons.
Shellmyer is the daughter of Erin and Chad Shellmyer of Urbandale.
