2024 BOYS STATE WRESTLING INFORMATION

Urbandale will compete in the 2023 Class 3A State Wrestling Tournament starting this Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 6:00pm (Session 3).
 

Congratulations to these State Qualifiers:

Caleb Arroyo at the 113lb weight class

Dayne Rew at the 138lb weight class

 

Gabe Carver at the 165lb weight class

Cain Tigges at the 190lb weight class

SESSION 2 (8 mats) 1:30pm-5:00pm Class 3A 1st round, then 2nd round and 1st round consolation

Thursday, February 16
SESSION 5 (8 mats) 1:30pm-5:00pm Class 3A 2nd round consolation, then Quarterfinals and 3rd round consolation

Friday, February 17
SESSION 8 (6 mats) 1:30pm-5:00pm Class 3A 4th round consolation and Semifinals, then 5th round consolation

Saturday, February 18
SESSION 10 (6 mats) 9:00am - 2:15pm Class 1A, 2A, 3A consolation semifinals, then consolation Finals
SESSION 11 (3 mats) 5:15pm – IWCOA Awards, Grand March, Championship Matches

Wells Fargo Arena Information 

 

Entry and Exit Points

  • There will be two entry points into WFA – the south doors (bottom of the hill) and the skywalk from HyVee Hall (HVH).
  • Patrons will have to pass through metal detectors before being allowed entrance to WFA.
  • The north set of doors (top of the hill) is an exit only location.
  • Map that oulines entrances, parking, and arena set up.

 

Concessions

Wells fargo Arena is a cashless facility for concessions. They accept credit/debit cards and venue gift cards.  If you need to redeem cash for a gift card you can do so at the Concession stand at Section 108.

 

Bag Policy

Wells Fargo Arena has implemented a clear bag policy for all events. A maximum clear bag the size of 12"x6"x12" is permitted. Exceptions will be made for medical, family, or child care bags or small clutches no larger than 4.5"x6.5".
