Three J-Hawk Wrestlers named to Academic All-State Team

Gabe Carver, Cain Tigges, and Dayne Rew were named to the 2024 Iowa Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association's Academic All-State First Team.

 

The All-State Criteria is:

  • 2023-24 Junior or Senior
  • State Qualifier 2023
  • 3.75-4.00 Cumulative GPA – All-State
  • 3.74-3.50 Cumulative GPA – Honorable Mention

 

Carver placed 2nd in Weight Class 165 and Tigges placed 6th in Weight Class 190 at this year's Class 3A State Tournament. Rew went 1-2 in Weight Class 138.
