It was rainy out much of the morning, but mother nature cleared the way for us to get this CIML soccer match in at Frerichs Field. Today's matchup in Urbandale, IA saw the #12 Urbandale J-Hawks (5-5) taking on the #2 WDM Valley Tigers (11-1).

Coming into this game, the Tigers had not surrendered a goal in their last 5 games, outscoring opponents by a score of 14-0. The J-Hawks felt the pain of the suffocating Tiger defense as they struggled to get anything going Taylor Mulligan found the back of the net in the 78th minute. The final score was 1-3 in favor of WDM Valley. The J-Hawks moved to 5-6 with the loss.

The J-Hawks will face the Norwalk Warriors on May 3rd for a nonconference matchup.
