Ashley Norem has signed a National Letter of Intent to run Track at the University of Northern Iowa.
Norem is the daughter of Julie McNees of Urbandale.
Norem is a three-year letterwinner in Track. Norem was the anchor on the 2013 Spring Medley Relay team at Urbandale that placed 2nd at the Class 4A State Meet; she also anchored the same relay to a runner-up finish in 2012. Norem placed 4th in the 400 Meter Dash and anchored the Distance Medley Relay Team that placed 4th for the J-Hawks in last year's State Meet. Norem placed in the top 15 at the State Cross Country Meet in 2012 and 2013.
The University of Northern Iowa is located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Panthers compete in the Missouri Valley Conference.
