Ticket Sales
Tickets for the State Volleyball Tournament semifinal match, Urbandale vs. Dowling Catholic, slated for 10:00am on Thursday, November 14, 2013, will be on sale accordingly:
Wednesday, November 11, 2013
8:00am to 6:00pm
In the Activities Office
$8.00 per ticket; checks made payable to Urbandale High School
Pre-school age children do not need a ticket.
Spectators are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid long lines at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids.
Ticket sales at the Arena:
$8.00 per session (pre-school age children are free).

T-Shirt Sales A limited number of State Tournament T-Shirts remain on sale in the Activities Office at Urbandale High School during the same time frame. T-Shirts are $12.00 each for Short Sleeve shirts. Checks may be made payable to the Urbandale Booster Club. |

Student Dismissal High School Students wishing to attend the State Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, November 14, 2013, will be excused for the entire day and have their absence counted as a student activity, if they purchase a ticket prior to 6:00pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 – AND - turn in a note at the time they purchase a ticket from a parent/guardian excusing them for the day. |

Spectator Seating and other Information Urbandale will play Dowling Catholic on Court ONE at 10:00am. Ankeny Centennial and Bettendorf will play the other semifinal match beginning at 10:00am on Court TWO. All spectator seating is General Admission. The display or usage of balloons, banners, signs, light or laser pens, or any paper debris (including confetti) is strictly prohibited. Any objects which could provide a safety concern (pom-poms on sticks, etc) are prohibited. Artificial noisemakers such as air horns, cowbells, thunder sticks, etc. are not allowed. All spectators must wear a shirt and shoes during IGHSAU sponsored tournament matches. Shirts must be worn in a proper manner and shall not promote obscene or inappropriate content. NO MASKS OF ANY TYPE WILL BE PERMITTED. Floor access is only limited to those individuals in the "official" travel party. |
