Kovalcikova and Anliker Named to Academic All-State Teams

Martina Kovalcikova and Ella Anliker were honored by the Iowa Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association, both being named Academic All-State.

 

Kovalcikova was named to the 1st Team while Anliker was an Honorable Mention selection.

 

The All-State Criteria is:

  • 2022-23 Junior or Senior
  • State Qualifier 2023
  • 3.75-4.00 Cumulative GPA – All-State
  • 3.74-3.50 Cumulative GPA – Honorable Mention

 

Both wrestlers competed in the 1st Annual IGHSAU State Wrestling Tournament in Coralville in February.
