Urbandale will send one wrestler to compete in the 2024 Girls State Wrestling Tournament, beginning at 10:00am on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.

High School Student Attendance

Students wishing to attend the State Wrestling Tournament and have their absence counted as a school activity must call the attendance line at Urbandale High School at 515-457-6805 by Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 8:00am.

Online Tickets

Tickets may be purchased online here:  Xtream Arena Online Tickets.  The cost is $12 plus fees.

Tickets at the Arena

Tickets sold on site at Xtream Arena are $12.00 per person for an all-day ticket. Spectators must scan their ticket upon leaving the arena if they plan to return later that same day.  Admission will be charged for those kindergarten age and older.  Accepted forms of payment are cash or credit/debit cards.  Xtream Arena Box Office does not accept personal checks.

Seating

There will not be a designated student section.  All seating is general admission.

Clear Bags

Only clear bags smaller than 12x12x6 may be brought into Xtream Arena. Non-clear bags (purses, backpacks, etc.) will not be permitted.

Parking

Public Parking is available at the South Parking Lot off Quarry Road (SE of Xtream Arena, S of Coralville Conference Center), the North Parking Ramp (N of Hyatt Regency Hotel), and the West Parking Ramp (NW of the Xtream Arena and SW of Von Maur). Prohibited Items

Balloons, banners, signs, flags, light or laser pens, or any paper debris (including confetti) are strictly prohibited. Objects that provide a safety concern (pom-poms on sticks, etc.) are prohibited. Artificial noisemakers such as air horns, megaphones, cowbells, thunder sticks, etc. are not allowed. Xtream Arena policy prohibits pounding on seats.

Spectator Attire

All spectators must wear a shirt and shoes during IGHSAU-sponsored tournament matches. Shirts must be worn in a proper manner and shall not promote obscene or inappropriate content.
