The Urbandale Girls Cross Country team has earned the IGHSAU Distinguished in Academic Achievement Award. 

The J-Hawks carried a 3.69 GPA earning the honor. The IGHSAU Distinguished in Academic Achievement Award is given to teams who carry a 3.25 GPA and above.
